Dr Dane Jacobsohn
In 2015 I enrolled at the University of Johannesburg where I completed my N DIP (with distinction) in 2018, BTech (with distinction) in 2019 and finally MHSc (with distinction) in 2021. I absolutely love my profession and I am very passionate about making a difference in every patient’s life that walks through my door. I pride myself in the delivery of quality assessments, diagnosis and treatments. My goal is to not only make a massive difference in the lives of my patient’s but also contribute to the profession in the form of ongoing research and awareness of the benefits.
Over the years I became acquainted with the immense benefits of chiropractic treatment for infants and children with regards to colic, reflux, growth spurts and so much more. I have a special interest in paediatric chiropractic and attended multiple courses presented by Dr Mike Marinus from the Paediatric Network. While I was at the University of Johannesburg, I worked in the public chiropractic clinic on Doornfontein Campus for 2 years where I gained unparalleled experience and knowledge with regards to rare conditions and formulating treatment plans customised for each patient.
I am registered at the allied health professions council of South Africa (AHPCSA), paediatric chiropractic association of South Africa (PCSA), Chirosport SA and chiropractic association of South Africa (CASA). I have a special interest in paediatric chiropractic and obtained multiple additional qualifications in chiropractic care for infants, toddlers and kids with regards to a wide variety of conditions and injuries.
Upon my graduation I obtained the Excellence award for the class of 2021 with an average of 82.6%. I was also the first student in South-Africa to graduate with a Masters in Health Science (Chiropractic) with distinction.
